As we wind down the last 2 weeks of our fall workouts its time to reflect on the 2009 season. From tball all the way to the bundesliga with everyone in between it was a great season.

Lets start with the tball crew. What fun it was too watch the little ones play and to see them get better was a treat. For them to win the tball championship was such a great thing.

Moving up to the second championship team the youth 2. This was not an easy year for the youth 2 as they had numerous people coach them on games days including myself and they never complained. It was even better to see them reinforced by all the kids moving up from tball and live pitcher and win that championship in convincing fashion.

Stepping up to the NRW youth 1 who played in the german championships. It was fun to see the kids win but it was even better to see many of them go from immature kids to hard working young adults in just a few short months. And especially nice to see some of them up and play well in the juniors as well.

What a season it was for the farm team. to lose only 3 games on the field 2 of them by 1 run and 2 other losses due to not enough healthy players and win the Northwest regional league title was amazing. Not only was it a great season team was but we had Flocke, Kim, Mo and dustin have a shot at the batting title right till the last game, which flocke pulled out over dustin in a clutch final game performance. As far as more individual stuff, Mo and Big Rob would have been up at the top of the pitching stats but did not have enough innings to qualify. this was due to a deep pitching staff.

Finally the bundesliga. In the begiining of the season i set 3 main goals for us. 1) win the north championship 2) win the german championship 3) get us into the european cup. Well we have accomplished 2 out of the 3 and believe me next year myself and all the guys will be working hard to get that german championship. Achieving what we have done was not easy by any means, and it was all due to the hard work and dedication of the bundeliga players. I could not be prouder or ask for a better group of players and more importantly a better group of guys. To them i say a big THANKS.

To all the board members, club members, parents i wish a special thanks to all of you who made my first year in solingen a great 1. I also want to thank martin and the Outdaxx for bringing me onto the team. It was a fun and relaxing way for me to unwind and have some fun.

I leave Oct 28 and will be back shortyly after the new year starts. So i hope to see as many of you as possable before than
