Well everyone sorry its been awhile for the coaches corner. But as we enter the second half here is a new one. The first half sees us half way to our first team goal be the north division champs.

This was not an easy thing as every team in the league is better this year and its been tough going every week.

Our pitching staff is what has gottten us to first at the halway point. Andre Hughes, Josh Rickards, Hils Hartkopf, Jens Cornelson, Basty Bernards and robin drache have been fantastic and could not have been any better.

Well here is my first coaches corner of 2010. I thought I would wait and write once we played a game or 2 and thanks to the snow finally being gone we have. We opened the preseason with 2 games played over in Cologne. Each game we where victorious so it was nice to start the pre season that way. But much work is still to be done do get ready for opening day and very few days to get ready
 
Reflect 2009 Drucken

As we wind down the last 2 weeks of our fall workouts its time to reflect on the 2009 season. From tball all the way to the bundesliga with everyone in between it was a great season.

Lets start with the tball crew. What fun it was too watch the little ones play and to see them get better was a treat. For them to win the tball championship was such a great thing.

Moving up to the second championship team the youth 2. This was not an easy year for the youth 2 as they had numerous people coach them on games days including myself and they never complained. It was even better to see them reinforced by all the kids moving up from tball and live pitcher and win that championship in convincing fashion.

The playoffs are over and i have had a couple weeks to think about this season and how it went. No matter what happened the last 2 games this season was a success. We lost 2 key players from last years team and still finished further than the year before, we also took the eventual champion heidenheim to 5 games and beat an undefeated american pitcher who has major league experience.
